With the bag law taking effect approximately one year earlier, an important regulation has been stipulated. Article 74 of the Law Regarding Amendment to the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6645 and to Certain Laws and Decree Laws has made it obligatory for workers employed within the scope of Professional Competence Board Law No. 5544 and workers assigned in occupations that pose a threat to occupational health and safety to obtain an occupational competence certificate. A period of one year was allocated for employers to switch to this practice but this period will expire on 05/25/2016.

Every year until the end of May, Tax Plates must be registered according to the Tax Procedure Law.
After the approval of Income and Corporate Tax Declaration form in April, the IT department of Revenue Administration will upload the Tax Plates based on the data from 2015. The current Tax Plates which are uploaded into the system from Administration of Revenue must be approved until the end of May.

INFORMATION FORM REGARDING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LIAISON OFFICES
In the beginning of April 2016, the question of how sensitive personal data shall be protected arose when the personal information of over 50 million Turkish citizens was released on internet. Coincidently, around the same date the Turkish state released new legislation on how to protect personal information. The legislation entitled the Protection Of Personal Data was published on April 7, 2016 in the Legal Turkish Newspaper and is based on the European Union Commission and EU Parliament’s 95/46/EC numbered, October 24, 1995 dated Directive on the protection of the free movement of personal information and its process.
