Social Security Institution has published a General Letter to confirm that the presidency and management boards of labor unions and confederations are subject to unemployment insurance premiums.
On the General Letter, the authorities state that the presidency and management boards of labor unions and confederations are considered as insured within the scope of the article 4/1-(a) Law: 5510 (In Turkish).
Also, if the presidency and management boards of labor unions and confederations get retired during their duties, they can continue their duties and the social security support premium would be applied for these individuals.

Social Security Institution has announced that the social security premium payment deadline for January 2022 has been postponed to 03.03.2022.
Per the announcement, the regular social security premium deadline which is 28.02.2022, has been postponed to 03.03.2022 considering the workload of the employers arised in February.
The authorities also noted that to be able to benefit from the incentives, the payments would need to be done until the deadline.
Social Security Institution has published an announcement regarding the e-notification system on 09.02.2022 and stated that the e-notification system would first be tried in Eskisehir province.
In this announcement, SSI stated that the general rules have been included on SSI Circular No. 2021/38 for the e-notification application, and the application process has started via www.turkiye.gov.tr portal.
In addition, Eskisehir has been decided as a pilot province to try the e-notification system, and the authorities will first try and check this system on Eskisehir province.
