With the announcement published by the Social Security Institution, General Directorate of Insurance Premiums, on September 28, 2026, an update has been made to the e-No Debt System and the EKAP debt inquiry web service used by the Public Procurement Authority.

Under the update, provided that the debt inquiry date and the date on which the inquiry is based are the same day, certain employers with overdue debts to SSI may also be issued an e-No Debt Certificate, subject to specific conditions.

The Social Security Institution (SSI), through Circular No. 2026/21 dated September 4, 2026, has established the procedures and principles governing the 2026 Tourism Wage Support for insured employees working at private-sector accommodation establishments holding a tourism operation certificate under Law No. 2634 on the Encouragement of Tourism.

The support will apply to eligible workplaces for the May–December 2026 period. The amount of support is calculated based on the number of premium payment days reported for insured employees covered by the scheme.

Following the Regulation Amending the Temporary Protection Regulation, published in the Official Gazette No. 33091 dated 28 November 2025, important changes have been introduced in practice regarding the documents required for the health activation procedures of foreign nationals.

In this context, where family relationship or the dependent relationship cannot be established through other documents, the "Applicant and Accompanying Person Information (Accompanying Person/Dependent) Document" issued by the Presidency of Migration Management has also been included among the documents that may be used in health activation procedures.

Pursuant to Article 11 of Law No. 7590, published in the Official Gazette dated July 31, 2026 and numbered 33326, a temporary Social Security Premium Support scheme has entered into force for accommodation facilities operating in the tourism sector.
