Within the scope of Article 14/5 of the By-Law on the Procedures and Principles for the Transfer of Personal Data Abroad, it is stipulated that standard contract notifications shall be made (i) physically, (ii) via registered electronic mail ("KEP"), or (iii) by other methods determined by the Board.
On October 25, 2024, the Personal Data Protection Board announced the launch of the Standard Contract Notification Module, which falls under the "other methods determined by the Board" as stated in the relevant by-law. This module aims to facilitate faster and more efficient notifications of standard contracts over the internet. It has been confirmed that notifications can now be made through this module, which has been made available to the relevant parties.
