Extension in R&D Incentives

Within the scope of the Presidential Decree No. 8004 published in the Official Gazette No. 32413 dated December 28, 2023, the determined incentive rate application for technology employees has been extended until December 31, 2024.

The scope of incentives was briefly outlined in the previous regulation (before extension) as follows:

From April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 (inclusive), a one hundred percent (100%) incentive will be applied to information technology employees, as determined by the Ministry.
For employees not covered in the aforementioned category, a seventy-five percent (75%) incentive will be applicable until December 31, 2023 (inclusive).
